Trying to brew up some charcloth in the garden! I think I’ve been a bit over ambitious as there’s a whole pair of trousers in there and the process is taking somewhat longer than I thought! Plus that can is going to be hell to clean….

Does that mean that you're wandering around the back garden without a pair of trousers? (harhar)
Do you snip the material up into little pieces before charring it, or do it afterwards?

Now that would scare the neighbours!
I'm quite sure they already think I'm bonkers as it is….
I just bunged the whole lot in, it's quite brittle afterwards so it's easily torn in to smaller chunks.
I'll do another post of the finished article when I see if it does what it's supposed too. That's once I've found a bloomin' firesteel, obviously I've loads in the warehouse but I'm buggered if I can find any at home.
