Our Philosophy

Here at Lakeland Bushcraft Trading we like to sell the kind of stuff that we like to buy, simple as that.

We also don’t like to advertise stuff for sale that we don’t have in stock. Some shops you see will advertise kit for sale and then go and buy it when they have a buyer.

I don’t know about you but when I make a purchase on line, I like to think that product will be winging it’s jolly way to me within the next day or so. Not that a purchase order will be on it’s way to a distributor in the next day or so.

That’s not to say that we don’t sometimes run out of stock, of course we do. We try to make sure we have enough stock to cover likely orders and take into account supplier lead times but from time to time the supply chain breaks down or we get a sudden rush.

In this case we will put a notice on the website to tell customers that there will be a delay, if we know that the delay will be a long one we may even withdraw the item for sale.

Customers who have ordered an out of stock item will be notified and of course if a delay is unacceptable a refund will be given.
